Divergent Wasmeri is a connection platform that helps Family / Hirers and Wasmeri / Service provider — including caregivers, babysitters, cleaners, housekeepers, home-care workers, and people offering other skilled services — find and communicate with one another.

Divergent Wasmeri is a connection platform only.

We do not employ Nannies or Family / Hirers, and we do not become a party to employment or service arrangements made between users.

Because our platform depends on users being able to create profiles and communicate with one another, we collect certain information necessary to create accounts, verify identities, provide platform features, maintain security, and facilitate connections.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Divergent Wasmeri, we may collect the following categories of information.

2.1 Account Information

When you register, we may collect information such as:

• Full name;
• Email address;
• Phone number;
• Password or authentication information;
• Account type, such as Family / Hirer or Wasmeri / Service provider;
• Profile type, categories, skills, custom skills and user-written services;
• Date of birth or age, where required;
• Profile photograph;

3. Identity Documents

For optional Service Provider identity confirmation, Divergent Wasmeri may request government-issued identification documents and a live selfie. Family / Hirer accounts do not complete identity verification. Email confirmation is required before using the dashboard. Verification is not required to edit a profile.

These may include:

• National Identification Card (NID);
• Passport;
• Driver's licence;
• Other government-issued identification;
• Identification photographs; or
• Other documents reasonably required to verify identity.

These documents are collected primarily for:

• Identity verification;
• Account verification;
• Preventing fake accounts;
• Preventing impersonation;
• Fraud prevention;
• Platform security; and
• Protecting the integrity of the Divergent Wasmeri platform.

We do not collect identification documents for unrelated purposes.

Users should only provide genuine documents belonging to themselves or documents they are legally authorized to provide.

4. Profile Information

Users may provide information that appears on their Divergent Wasmeri profile.

For Nannies, this may include information such as:

• Name;
• Profile photograph;
• Age or age range;

• Work experience;
• Skills;
• Childcare experience;
• Housekeeping experience;

• Other information voluntarily provided by the user.

For Family / Hirers, this may include information such as:

• Family / Hirer or account holder name;
• General location;
• Household requirements;
• Childcare requirements;
• Number or age range of children;
• Work requirements;
• Expected duties;
• Proposed salary or payment;
• Preferred working arrangements;
• Other relevant household requirements; and
• Other information voluntarily provided by the user.

Users should carefully consider what information they choose to place on a public or discoverable profile.

5. Information About Children

Family / Hirers may provide information relating to children when describing their childcare requirements.

We encourage Family / Hirers to provide only the information reasonably necessary to explain their childcare needs.

Family / Hirers should avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive information about children, including:

• Full legal names where unnecessary;
• Government identification numbers;
• Medical records;
• School records;
• Financial information;
• Detailed medical information; or
• Other highly sensitive information

unless there is a legitimate reason for providing it and the Family / Hirer is legally permitted to do so.

Divergent Wasmeri does not require Family / Hirers to disclose unnecessary sensitive information about their children.

6. Photographs and Images

Users may upload profile photographs or other images as part of their account.

Images may be used to:

• Display a user's profile;
• Help users identify the person they are considering connecting with;
• Support account verification;
• Maintain platform security; or
• Provide features of the Divergent Wasmeri service.

Users should not upload photographs or images belonging to another person without appropriate permission or lawful authority.

7. Location Information

Divergent Wasmeri may collect location information provided by users during registration or profile creation.

Location information may be used to:

• Help Family / Hirers find Nannies in relevant areas;
• Help Nannies identify opportunities in relevant areas;
• Improve search and matching functionality;
• Provide location-related platform features; and
• Maintain platform security.

Where possible, users should avoid providing a more precise location than necessary.

Divergent Wasmeri may display general location information to other users where this is necessary for the platform's connection and search functions.

We do not intend for users to publicly display unnecessary precise residential information.

8. Messages and Communications

Divergent Wasmeri may provide messaging or communication features that allow Family / Hirers and Nannies to communicate.

Messages and communications may be processed or stored as necessary to:

• Provide the messaging service;
• Deliver messages;
• Maintain platform functionality;

• Enforce our Terms and Conditions; and
